This charming stray dog didn’t always have a beaming smile on her face. Back in 2016, she was found and rescued, but unfortunately, she was suffering from some severe health problems like hernia and mange. Thankfully, the rescuers took good care of her and nursed her back to health. Later, she was put up for adoption. One day, Amy Matsushima came across her picture online and immediately knew that she wanted to make her a part of her family. Although Shortcake was not in the best condition at that time, with proper care from the rescue center and her foster family, she recovered quickly. Nowadays, Amy and Shortcake are inseparable, and Shortcake is always sporting a cheerful grin on her face!
At the age of four, this adorable little girl still finds joy in smiling, cuddling, and playing with children, as shown in the video clip. She also has a great passion for adventure and enjoys going to the beach with her mother to splash around in the water.
Not only is Shortcake an adorable dog, but she’s also a popular Instagram model with a whopping 132,000 followers! And it’s easy to see why with her contagious smile.

According to Amy, when the girl is awake, she is quite silly and loves making various sounds. Her playful nature shines through during this time, though she does smile even while asleep. Amy notes that the girl seems to be smiling most of the time, indicating a happy and contented personality.
