“The Blissful Existence of a Blind and Deaf Pup Unaffected by its Handicap”

Meet Buster, a lovable Poodle-Chihuahua crossbreed who has been living with his doting owners in Florida since he was a little pup. Despite having good vision for most of his life, Buster developed glaucoma in both eyes. Sadly, one of his eyes became inflamed last year and the vet advised that it be removed. As a result, poor Buster lost his sight completely, but this hasn’t dampened his loving spirit one bit.

Moreover, Buster is facing hearing and dental difficulties, which result in his tongue frequently poking out of his mouth.

Every now and then, Buster likes to don a pair of shades to keep one of his eyes safe. As per his mom, Karen Rhea, he’s not consistent with wearing them, but she makes sure he wears them when stepping out to safeguard his other eye.

The pair relishes undertaking activities in each other’s company, and Buster has a sibling called Biscuit, who happens to be an eight-year-old canine adopted from a shelter located in Florida in the year 2011.

“Biscuit and Buster are inseparable buddies who enjoy each other’s company. They even sleep side by side in their cozy beds.”
